It looks like you have to wait a little longer to get your hands on Project Cars.
Slightly Mad Studios and Bandai Namco Games Europe has announced that its upcoming video game, called Project Cards, had been delayed due to "final adjustments in the game" and thus won't release on time. Instead of launching in March, as previously announced, it should be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on 2 April.
"The slight shift of the release date is due to final adjustments in the game, that are required to provide to the fans with the best gaming experience they could have," announced British developer Slightly Mad Studios, adding that moving the release date was not an easy decision to make, but in the end, it'll allow the developer to provide a better experience.
The racing game, which hopes to be one of the most authentic and technically-advanced racing games ever made, has suffered from many hiccups and subsequent delays since originally being teased for a 2014 release. Even the release date announced today, for instance, refers to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions, but not the Wii U edition.
