After the release of the Nokia Lumia 2520 in 2013, there were rumours of a smaller, more affordable 8.3 inch Lumia tablet, supported by an entry at import registration site Zauba.
The so-called Lumia 2020 was to have a full HD screen and a nano-SIM.
Now the device has shown up on Finnish site BestMobileBlog with a screen shot showing that the device would have run Windows 8 RT powered by a Snapdragon 800 processor and 2 GB of RAM. The picture above shows the tablet would have had a nice Pureview-type camera with a flash, unusual for tablets at the time.
The device did of course end up being cancelled, and Windows 8 RT had the same fate in the end. The leak gives us however an interesting look at what could have been.
