Steve Jobs biopic filming at Flint Center for key Macintosh unveiling scene (Pictures)

Filming for the upcoming Steve Jobs biopic written by Aaron Sorkin has been spotted at the Flint Center at De Anza college, the venue where Steve Jobs unveiled the original Mac in 1984.

A reader sent in the images above showing the outside of the Flint Center being decorated by the film crew with retro Apple signage for the Macintosh unveiling scene expected to be a key focus of the film.

Reports this week noted that principal filming had started for the Universal Pictures film (after Sony dropped out) being directed by Danny Boyle. The film will reportedly focus on three Apple keynotes with one of those events being the original Macintosh unveiling that took place at the Flint Center.

De Anza college confirmed the filming in a note to students this week, many of which will be extras in the film: “Crew members scouted campus last week and principal shooting begins this week in the Flint Center.”

After filming at the Flint Center, the crew will also be taking shots of the campus for approximately four days, according to the message from the college.

Michael Fassbender is currently confirmed to be playing the lead role with Seth Rogen (as Steve Wozniak), Kate Winslet (as former Macintosh marketing head Joanna Hoffman) and Jeff Daniels (as John Sculley) also reportedly signed on.
