Judge dismisses antitrust case against Google over bundled apps and services

Totally different, because Microsoft didn't (and still doesn't) offer OEMs or consumers a version of Windows without Microsoft's bundled apps. Microsoft instead tied the browser to the OS itself. Google, on the other hand, designed its apps to be modular. They also make a version of the OS without any Google apps installed at all, and it's available to both OEMs and consumers for free.
That's a HUGE difference. Microsoft said "you WILL use our browser. Even if you don't want to, it powers part of the OS (Active Desktop, Windows Explorer, etc.), so it's going to run regardless" . Google is just saying "you can use our OS. If you want to use our app store though you have to use our app bundle and follow our initial user experience guidelines".
