We all know Windows 10 for phones and Windows 10 for the desktop will be closely related, but it still comes as a surprise to see the Lumia Camera Beta app show up in the latest leaked build of the OS, build build 9901.
The presence of the app and the distinctive Nokia Camera UI was noticed by WindowsBlogItalia, and suggests to me that the app may ultimately replace the default camera app on tablets and of course phones.
Microsoft is expected to show of much of the consumer features of Windows 10 on the 21st January in an event that will be live streamed, so we may not have to wait too long to see what the final product, due in Fall 2015, will be like.
